Art 21 Screening "Between Worlds"
AVA’s Art Labs are a free monthly workshop series designed to support artists beyond the canvas. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional, these sessions focus on the essential (but often overlooked) skills that help creatives thrive—like talking about your work, building an online presence, setting prices, overcoming creative blocks, and more.
Each lab blends practical tools, creative mindset support, and peer connection, offering a space to grow not just as an artist, but as a creative thinker, communicator, and entrepreneur. Each session takes place at AVA Art Center.

Feb 14 2026 | 1:00 - 3:00
Celebrate the newest episode of Art in the Twenty-First Century! This season of Screening Society provides a free opportunity to watch “Between Worlds,” featuring artists Sophie Calle, Lubaina Himid, Tuan Andrew Nguyen, and Dyani White Hawk, with your friends and community.
The internationally acclaimed artists in “Between Worlds” work at intersections and crossroads using their artistic practices to make sense of complex histories of colonization and migration, find common ground between cultures, and break down divides that otherwise seem fixed.
