Meet the Instructors:

Paige- I am an artist that has grown up in Gillette and I am heavily inspired by the living thriving natural world around me. All of my art is surrounded by nature or other natural things such as emotion and movement. Despite being involved in all forms of art, printmaking is where I have found my passion and success. With every carve made in the Lino block I am brought closer to my work. I enjoy this medium the most because it allows me to slow down, think, and mindfully create.

Fern- My name is Fern Birdsbill. I am a Lakota, queer, illustrator born and raised in Wyoming. Whether it is visual, literary, or preforming arts I specialize in storytelling. My focus is crafting characters that resonate with people. I am also a dedicated arts advocate. I hold a firm belief that investing in the arts is investing in the community, and have committed myself to not just supporting but advancing that vision.
