Susan Jerke
Susan Jerke is a contemporary artist whose whimsical work is inspired by nature. Her graphic design background is reflected in her strong, simple designs.
Susan’s primary medium is stained glass, but she also does photography, colored pencil and “paper painting.” Always exploring new art forms, she discovered the collage technique of paper painting while visiting an art show in Scottsdale, AZ. “I enjoy the process, from developing the design, to choosing the colors and textures, to layering the final work.”
She is a founding member of a local art co-op gallery, has displayed her work in various shows and galleries, and her work is in private collections. She and her husband, Gary, live south of Gillette with their two dogs and a rescue kitten that is the boss of the house.
