Will Lopez

Will Lopez creates chip away pieces to represent his mother's degenerative disease, Huntington's Disease. The 50/50 chance of survival represents the 50% chance a child of a parent who is affected by Huntington's Disease has of inheriting the disease.

Will's mother has been in assisted living for ten years but recently Will and family decided to take her out of the nursing home. HD (Huntington's Disease) has driven her to a point where she can no longer speak well and walking is beginning to be difficult. She must rely on doctors, nurses, friends and family to assist her with everyday routines. There is no cure to this disease.

Will's mission is to raise awareness and funding to the HD population and other rare diseases to one day have a cure.

25% of proceeds from the sale of Chip Away Vessel will go towards Huntington's Disease research.
