Andrew Call
As an artist, I work in both graphic design and digital photo manipulation. As a photographer, I began working in
wildlife and landscape photography while working in South Pass, Wyoming. The area provided opportunities to
capture wildlife and scenery I might otherwise have missed. Since moving to Laramie, I've taken up portrait and
more abstract photography.
I like to both capture moments from the real world and also create pieces that defy real-world interpretation. My
landscape and wildlife photography is often vivid and colorful in unconventional ways. My photo manipulations,
which I'm currently calling reflections, take objects from nature (like plants or animals) and blend them in ways
that are at once familiar but unfamiliar. Recognizable but abstract.
