Carol Foerster
I am a pencil artist, I work with graphite and colored pencils. I am a college graduate with an art degree but I
consider my pencil drawing style to be self taught. As a child I enjoyed and was inspired by the pencil art of
illustrators like C.W. Anderson and Sam Savitt. Inspired by the life around me, I have drawn family and friends,
pets, plants from our garden, and images I have brought home from trips I have taken around the United States.
I work from life or my own photographs. I have been showing my art around the United States and I enjoy giving
talks about pencil drawing. It has been a wonderful experience for me to be able to share my art.
