Joan Sowada

I choose to produce artwork about people in relationship with one another and in candid everyday activities. My
medium of fabric and my subject matter are nurturing and earthy. My goal is to successfully describe the
qualities of relationship and activity, that each piece be a metaphor showing what all people have in common.
