I strive to capture the natural beauty of the human form while evoking the mystery of what lies within their minds.
The intersection of the poses allows for the model to be tangled in a conjecture of thought, a polarity between
feelings. Each intersecting pastel stroke is an exploration of concepts like comfort, conflict, and the harmony they
can share. My multi-media approach allows for the background to add depth, volume, and contrast: The foil leaf
gives each model distinction from the canvas with their stoic, yet sensual presence. The collage adds depth of
reference and nods towards my Eastern influence. Each still moment of life is captured in a moment of
meditation and revelation.
